What to Expect from Your First Call

A 30-minute confidential conversation with a chartered accountant. No sales pitch, no obligation to engage. You leave the call with a clear view of the options open to you and what each one would cost.

    Same-day response

Enquiries submitted during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm UK time) receive a reply the same day. Out-of-hours enquiries are answered by the next working morning.

    Direct with the founder

Your call is with Sapna Agarwal ACA — the chartered accountant who will lead any engagement, not a sales representative or junior associate. Every question is answered by the person who will do the work.

    Confidential by default

Every conversation is covered by ICAEW professional confidentiality obligations from the first message. Nothing you share is used, stored, or referenced beyond what you need to make a decision.

    Frequently Asked Questions

The questions most people ask before they get in touch.

Is the initial consultation really free?
Yes. The first 30 minutes is offered without charge so we can both decide whether an engagement makes sense. There is no obligation to proceed, and you will not be sent an invoice for the call. Substantive advisory work that begins after the consultation is always covered by an engagement letter with fees agreed in advance.
Do you work with clients outside London?
Yes. We work with clients across the UK and internationally. Almost all advisory work is delivered by video and secure file exchange. In-person meetings are available at our Central London office (71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden) by appointment.
What size of business do you typically work with?
Most of our clients are founder-led or family-owned businesses with turnover between £250,000 and £25 million, alongside individual investors and high-net-worth families with comparable wealth. We are equally happy to advise pre-revenue founders preparing their first EIS round and established business owners planning succession after thirty years of trading.
    How do your fees work?
We quote fixed fees for defined pieces of work wherever possible — compliance cycles, R&D claims, EIS applications, valuations, and most advisory projects. Hourly billing is the exception, used only when scope cannot reasonably be defined in advance. Every engagement is set out in a written engagement letter with the fee, scope, and timeline confirmed before work begins.
Can you replace my existing accountant?
Yes, and the transition is straightforward. We handle the professional clearance process with your existing accountant under ICAEW protocols, take over the historic records, and pick up the next compliance cycle without disruption. Where we are brought in alongside an existing accountant for a one-off advisory piece (an EIS application, a restructure, a complex transaction), we can do that too.
